Application: Tissue analysis
  • Tissue analysis by mass spectrometry amongst other applications of tissue analysis is a complex process. Sample purity and integrity is crucial when analysing clinical samples for molecules that are associated with a particular histology.
  • Precise liquid delivery to tissue samples without internal sample contamination can be achieved with the CHIP-1000 with piezoelectric solvent delivery.

CHIP-1000

Solvents delivered to water & alcohol sensitive paper demonstrates the high spatial resolution that can be achieved. In addition to standard arrays, an interspatial second array can be printed after the first, to maximise sample coverage whilst maintaining individual print position integrity. The second array is printed after the first allowing time for the first to dry before hand.


The CHIP-1000 can take a variety of sample plates, including microtitre plate (MTP) size AXIMA Shimadzu MALDI target plates and microscope slides.
