An integrated gel processing platform bringing together
gel imaging, spot cutting, digestion, extraction and transfer to MS systems
|
 |
|
Overview of the technology
- The purpose built gel processor can work with different protein digestion protocols, such as trypsin, Lys-C, Glu-C (incubation temperatures are precisely regulated between 20°C and 45°C for optimal digestion conditions)
- To help standardise gel processing protocols and maintain reliable reproducible results a set of Proteome Systems validated protocols for sample clean up, digestion and Zip-Tipping of sample handing are also available.
- A method editor feature allows user defined gel processing protocols to optimize protein digest conditions and sample workflows.
- Robust robotics system ensures confidence and reliability in the instrument for reproducible sample processing.
- Automates MS sample preparation. Transfers protein digestion mixture to MTP format for analysis by MALDI or LC/MS. Also supports dried droplet delivery to the mass spectrometer plate (without ZipTip).
